Jack Root has over 25 years of experience in entomology, pesticide
manufacturing, and regulatory affairs relating to pesticides,
environmental issues, pest control and related matters. Mr. Root was
the first Executive Director of the Arizona Structural Pest Control
Commission. He has held management positions at the regional and
national level with major pesticide manufacturers.
Mr. Root's extensive training and experience qualify him to
assist clients with diverse issues including: pesticides and pest
control, integrated pest management, product development, project
management, marketing and market support, problem solving, training and
continuing education, due diligence, litigation support, legislative
issues, and regulatory affairs.
Mr. Root received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The
Ohio State University and his Master of Science in Entomology from The
Pennsylvania State University. He completed additional work in
Entomology and Ecology at the University of California at Davis. Mr.
Root has completed management courses including the Wharton
School of Business Effective Executive Workshop. He is a member of the
Entomological Society and is a Board Certified Entomologist. He is also
a member of the National Pest Management Association and a
regional director of the New Mexico Pest Management Association.
Mr. Root has been active with the Association of Structural
Pest Control Regulatory Officials (ASPCRO) including participation in
their termiticide soil residue project, and serving as annual meeting host and
program chair. Mr. Root has also served on several other committees
with local, regional, and national associations.
